Little helpers – sweet goodness

Tempe, our almost two year old daughter, had a friend over for a play-date yesterday. After lunch, we made some chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. It was a messy but fun way to spend the afternoon and help take my mind off of waiting…waiting for our baby boy to be born. Being 39 weeks pregnant today, we should get to meet our son within a week or two; hopefully he doesn’t make us wait too long! Then Tempe will be my little helper taking care of her brother and making more sweet treats. I can also already see them building “tents” and playing in their own kitchen like her and her buddy did.
